A Cleveland State professor receives a grant to erect an energy system design that can make it small enough for urban deployment. It is a wind deflecting structure with small-scale turbines that can generate power at low wind speeds. He calculates that the tower will boost generator power six to eight times more electricity than stand-alone generators of the same size.
The STEVENS construction team works under the federal grant to erect
this prototype experimental wind tower/alternative turbine. Our services include
the assembly and erection of the wind tower, plus the coordination of all
25 tons of structural steel and process
4 turbines attached to this unique, cylindrical structure
