If you are looking for a reliable pre-engineered metal building manufacturer in Farmington Hills, Michigan, we recommend that you go to STEVENS Engineers and Constructors.
We can provide you with an advanced Metal Building Kit to streamline your next steel building project.
Pre-fabricated buildings are becoming the choice of more and more industries in Farmington Hills because of the unlimited, customizable options that are on the market.
To keep up with growth, an operationally efficient and cost-effective space is what you need.
Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) are pre-designed steel structures that are ready to be built on-site. This is one reason why they are so convenient.
PEBs are fabricated in factories at the exact size and dimensions you need and then are transported to the site and assembled with bolted connections. Industrial buildings, warehouses, schools, metro stations, and military barracks are types of structures that can be made by using PEBs.
As your partner for your building project in Farmington Hills, STEVENS can help your business with its facility needs, allowing you to have the benefits of prefabricated metal buildings which include the following:
A prefabricated building can offer you dozens of design options, whether your metal service facility is involved in fabricating extra-long steel structures, or you’re operating a food and beverage manufacturing plant and have to expand for more profits and production of food.
Our team understands how challenging it is for industrial businesses to secure financing for a new facility.
With the experience, workforce, resources, and expertise that STEVENS possesses, we don’t just supply the equipment needed to erect your building. We will also help you design, prepare the site, construct, and physically erect your metal building.
At STEVENS, we excel at delivering the following services to our clients:
For our steel, our supplier is the well-trusted Nucor Building Systems. For the designs of the building, we use the advanced technology of Building Information Modeling to ensure accurate and compliant structural and aesthetic design of the buildings we build.
Another benefit STEVENS offers is Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM is an advanced 3D building modeling software that enables us to design your pre-engineered metal buildings.
This sophisticated imaging tool gives our architects, designers, engineers, and project managers a precise visual guide when designing, planning, and executing a building project.
With BIM, our team can be confident your prefabricated building is structurally sound and spacious enough for its intended function. This software technology identifies any potential hazards in the design structure so that problems can be prevented and solved before erection begins (this helps to avoid costly setbacks later on in the project).
STEVENS' utilization of BIM allows our team to complete your project by the promised timeframe, within your chosen budget, and without any issues during erection. STEVENS can provide you with a full-service team to develop, design, and erect a metal building structure that follows every specification and requirement you (and your business) have.
STEVENS Engineers and Constructors has partnered with Nucor Building Systems to manufacture prefabricated buildings of the highest quality standards. Nucor provides STEVENS with high-grade All-American steel that is made of 80% recycled steel (and is 100% recyclable).
We closely follow Nucor’s F.O.C.U.S principles - Fits, On-time delivery, Competitive pricing, Unbeatable services, and Solutions that work – and apply these to all projects of any we handle.
With 25 years of industry experience and leadership, Nucor helps STEVENS provide the most sustainable and durable buildings, which ultimately helps our clients adhere to an environmentally-minded business model. The more than 4,000 pre-fabricated steel structures that Nucor completes yearly is a vivid assessment of their capabilities.
Our team takes pride in creating a meaningful and productive relationship with our clients, ensuring that we understand their specific needs and requirements for their pre-engineered metal building project.

As is often the case, there is much more to a “pre-engineered” building than the building itself.
In the case of Precoat Metals, the scope included providing the geotechnical reports, foundations, storm water, electrical, HVAC, and fire protection as well as obtaining all permits. The storm water piping consisted of 1000 lineal feet, crossing under two roads, to a retention pond.
The civil concrete included spread footers and grade walls and 23,000 square feet of floor slab poured to an FF 50/FL 50 finish specifications. This finish was critical to the owner’s plan to use remote controlled fork lifts for coil storage.
The building itself was 140’x120’ with an offset 70’x70’ attached by 2 tunnels 20’x20’ connecting the finishing line with the shipping building. The main building was 35’ high at the eave and 40 feet high to the ridge. The building also included 5’-0” skylights. The side walls consisted of 20,000 square feet of siding panels with 6” insulation. The building was covered by 23,500 square feet of standing seam roof, also with 6” insulation.
All work was performed to the owner’s satisfaction in terms of quality and schedule and cooperation within their operating facility. Most importantly, ZERO recordable accidents.
